NO25.32 Fredrikstad – Popcorn Break

Fredrikstad was another transit stop – but this time with a special bonus: the cinema. Yes, really. Sometimes on a long trip you need an evening that has nothing to do with nature, hiking or exploring. An evening with popcorn, cola and a big screen.

Fredrikstad has a lovely old fortress town that would certainly be worth exploring, but that evening we were in the mood for something different. After weeks full of impressions, fjords, mountains and glaciers, we simply needed a reset. Two hours in a darkened cinema, switching off, recharging. Afterwards we felt like new people. Sometimes the best travel activity is no travel activity at all. Fredrikstad, thank you for the film night.
