Copenhagen is a beautiful city with lots of interesting and nice architecture. We were especially blown away by the cycling infrastructure. We had heard it's a “bike city”, but we had no idea just how fantastic it is to explore the city by bike. I have probably never felt this safe and respected as a cyclist.

We drove from Copenhagen to Skagen, the northernmost point of Denmark with a short stop at Aarhus. Aarhus has a quaint little core and you notice the life, however, we were not super impressend and quickly continued. We did find the little traffic light-vikings funny!

On the next day we made our way to Skagen to walk the short trek to the point where the Northern Sea and the Baltic sea meet. It was a lovely little walk along the beach and Skagen itslef is a small little village, but it appears it has a very active and vibrant harbour.

Løkken is a nice small little town right next to one of Denmark's famous car-beaches. You can pretty much do everything here you want from going to the sauna on the beach to swurfing.

On our way to Klitmøller we decided to sleep somewhere half way and found a beautiful little site at Lund Fjord. Lund Fjord is a conservation area, but they build wooden walkways and little observation huts. We got super lucky and arrvide just for sunset which was fantastic to watch.

Klitmøller also known as Cold Hawaii is a very small village and we stopped here for a 1 day surf course. We both had never surfed before and didn't have high expectations, however, thanks to the great trainers/coaches/guides we both managed to stand our first wave rather quickly and had a blast afterwards.

Hvide Sande was very important to us as we had heard about omhu:. Omhu: is a local company that turns plastic that gets washed up on the shores into new useful things.

After Hvide Sande we drove to Rømø a small little island connected by a damn with a street on top. It's also one of Denmark's very famous car beaches. Lots of people go here to chill, surf, wind surd, kite surf, drive kite-drwan carts or just let some kites fly. There is always something cool going on to watch.
