NO25.15 Vågland – Short Night, Long Peace

Sometimes all you need is a quiet overnight stop between two highlights. Vågland was exactly that. No spectacular view, no tourist attraction, no Instagram hotspot. Just a peaceful patch of earth where you can switch off the engine and simply rest.

And that’s exactly what we did. Engine off, windows open, birdsong on. The air was clear and fresh, the surroundings green and unhurried. Places like this are the backbone of a long trip – they give you the energy and the calm you need to be amazed again the next day. Not every stop has to be a highlight. Some just have to be good. Vågland was good.
