MA14: Málaga

After Wilma had been picked up, we made our way to Málaga. There was a direct flight from there to the airport closest to home and, honestly, it also felt like a good opportunity to calm down after the past few stressful days.

We booked ourselves into a simple but nice hotel conveniently located close to both the airport and public transport as well as the beach promenade.

The weather seemed to be on our side and we ended up enjoying four days of sunny, pleasantly warm weather. We treated ourselves a little and went out for dinner every evening. Walking along the beach promenade while watching locals play volleyball was great fun as well.

Málaga itself turned out to be a beautiful and vibrant city, combining impressive architecture with everything you could want from a modern city.

It even had several fantastic vegan restaurants.

We genuinely enjoyed our stay there and could noticeably feel our stress levels dropping again.

Still, whenever we thought about the abrupt end to our Morocco adventure, it stung.
