NO25.18 Bud β A Charming Coastal Break
Bud was really just a way of filling time. We needed to wait until the following day, and this small coastal village happened to be conveniently on the way. No grand plan, no great expectations. But sometimes itβs exactly these unplanned stops that turn into little gems.
The village itself is pleasant and manageable β a few houses, a harbour, a shop. But the coastline surrounding it genuinely impressed us. Rough rocks shaped by the Atlantic, a wide open sea stretching to the horizon, wind whistling around your ears. This is the Norwegian coast as you imagine it β wild, untamed and beautiful.
We walked along the shore for a long time, taking photos and breathing in the salty air. Bud reminded us that you donβt always need a destination to find something wonderful. Sometimes itβs enough simply to be where you are.
