Kicking off our autumn/winter trip, we arrived in Wrocław. We had heard many good things about the city and were very curious about it.

Since it was Kathrin’s birthday, we felt we needed a proper night out.

For camping, we chose “Camping 117 KS AZS AWF Wrocław” (yep, it’s a mouthful), basically a green campsite next to the stadium with perfect public transport connections: the tram takes you to the heart of the Old Town in 15 minutes for €2 per person.

We started with dinner at Pod przykrywką, which was not only super tasty but also served really generous portions, and the price was more than fair!

Afterwards, we explored Wrocław by night and ended the evening at Proof, the “secret” speakeasy where you have to find a door, ring a bell and ask to be let in.

It was a wonderful day, and Wrocław is a truly amazing city.

Since Poland was just a transit stop on our way to Lithuania, we didn’t do much the next day apart from breakfast and a bit more exploring, and we left around noon.

We’ll definitely be back for more, especially to find more dwarfs!
