Toilet

We decided to get rid of the chemical toilette pretty much from the beginning. Why? We do not want to use any chemicals and try to only use natural things. In addition the chemical toilette is a huge issue if you want to be independent. It can only be emptied as special locations and causes real problems if it is full at the wrong moment.

So, we removed the checmical toilette and replaced it with a dry composting toilet. After thorough research we decided for BioTioo (formerly known as BioToi), because you do not need to add anything after each visit to the toilette. It has a very handy stirring mechanism that mixes fecal matter with the coconut fibres.

It also has a ventilator which we will install a little later.
