This is us
Hi, we’re Stefan and Kathrin, an adventurous couple from Germany with a shared passion for traveling, hiking, and immersing ourselves in nature. Our curiosity drives us to explore the world, and right now, we’re on an exciting journey across Europe in our campervan Wilma. By living on the road, we’ve embraced the freedom to wander wherever the wind takes us—without the need to rely on hotels or flights. We’re constantly discovering hidden gems, breathtaking landscapes, and unforgettable experiences, all while living life at our own pace.

I grew up surrounded by the peaceful countryside near Bergisch Gladbach, but life’s adventure took me to various cities—Cologne, London, Berlin—and eventually, back to the quiet charm of rural living. While I love the buzz and excitement of cities, I’m definitely a country soul at heart. There's nothing like the feeling of being surrounded by nature. Whether I'm hiking through forests, cycling along winding trails, surfing the waves, or climbing to new heights, I'm happiest when I’m outdoors, breathing in the fresh air and pushing my limits.
When I’m not out adventuring, you’ll find me unwinding in more creative ways. Drawing, crafting, and cooking are my go-to activities to slow down and relax, finding joy in creating something with my hands. And of course, I’m all about sports—nothing beats the thrill of a good challenge.
My biggest dream? To explore the world with my partner, discovering new places, soaking up different cultures, and meeting amazing people along the way. The best part of the journey is sharing those experiences with others—and I can’t wait to see where the road leads!

I grew up in Germany in an area called “Niederrhein” (lower Rhine area) which is really really flat. From my teenage days I was drawn towards technology. I loved tinkering around with computers and later worked as a projectionist in the local cinema to earn some money while going to school.
To this day anything tech excites me, but I also really love the great outdoors. The more mountaneous the better, I guess this stems from having grown up without anything remotely hilly close by.
Despite having lived in really busy cities (Cologne, London, Berlin) and having loved the experience, I feel like I am done with big crowds of people and nowadays mostly enjoy the quiet of a remote area.
Give me a comfy chair by a cozy fire in the middle of nowehere, a blanket on the beach or a cliff to dangle my feet off of and you will see me smiling :)
As a hobby I love to dabble in photography. I have tried people photography back when we loved in London and have since pivoted to landscape and travel photography.
