#2 Vancouver Island

Stop #2 | 13. September - 16. September | Surf Grove Campground

Our experience

Vancouver Island was nothing short of an adventure, a stunning mix of natural beauty and wildlife encounters that we'll remember for a long time. The weather was absolutely perfect throughout the trip, making it so easy to explore and soak in the great outdoors. We picked a lovely campsite close to Tofino that felt just right, serving as our cozy home base for all the exploration we had planned.

One of the standout moments was definitely the whale-watching adventure. The excitement of seeing these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat was off the charts! We were lucky enough to spot a good number of whales, and the playful otters just added to the thrill. It's one thing to read about it, but actually being there and witnessing the beauty of these animals was truly special.

After the whale-watching, we hopped on a boat to visit some hot springs. Relaxing in those warm waters while being in the Pacific at the same time? It felt like a dream. Each moment was filled with awe as we saw these majestic animals dive and surface.

Tofino did not disappoint! The scenery is breathtaking, with stunning sunsets that painted the sky in vibrant colors. Our campsite was peaceful, and we spent evenings just soaking in the serenity of the surroundings. Every part of our stay on Vancouver Island revealed the incredible diversity of this beautiful region, making it an unforgettable experience.
